Cooking Steps

Step 1 :

Wash and soak moong dal for 20-30 minutes.

Step 2 :

Heat oil in a pan.

Step 3 :

Add hing and fennel seeds to it. Let it roast well until aromatic.

Step 4 :

Add the soaked moong dal, besan, red chilli powder, amuchr powder, salt and turmeric powder.

Step 5 :

Roast it well in a pan. After 5-7 minutes, sprinkle little water and close the lid to allow the dal to cook.

Step 6 :

Check once it is cooked, add coriander leaves and mix it well.

Step 7 :

Knead wheat flour and make small balls from it, flatten it and fill the dal stuffing inside. With the help of a rolling pin, make a round paratha.

Step 8 :

Heat the tawa and place the paratha on it. Cook it well on both sides and apply ghee or butter generously.

Step 9 :

Serve it hot with curd or pickle.
