Oats Paratha

This is a healthy kind of paratha that can be had for breakfast. It is a combination of oats and wheat flour.

Step 1 :

In a mixer, grind rolled oats into a fine powder.

Step 2 :

Prepare for the dough by mixing powdered oats in wheat flour.

Step 3 :

Add cumin seeds, turmeric powder and red chilli powder to it.

Step 4 :

Add grated carrot, chopped onions and finely chopped coriander leaves to it.

Step 5 :

Add ginger garlic paste to enhance the taste.

Step 6 :

Add salt and required amount of water to it and knead it into a dough.

Step 7 :

Make small balls from the dough and roll it into a roti.

Step 8 :

Heat oil on a tava and fry the paratha on both sides until crisp and brown.

Step 9 :

Top it with butter and serve hot with powdered chutney, pickle or curd.

Step 10 :

You can also add grated cheese in the dough to make it an interesting snack for kids.
