Step 1 :

In a bowl, add besan, rice flour, turmeric powder, hing, baking soda, red chilli powder, ajwain, cumin powder and salt.

Step 2 :

Mix the ingredients well and add a little water. Ensure the batter isn't too watery. Mix it well to make sure there are no lumps in it.

Step 3 :

Wash, peel and cut pumpkin into thin slices.

Step 4 :

Heat oil in a kadai.

Step 5 :

Once the oil is heated, dip the pumpkin slices into the batter and deep fry each slice until golden brown.

Step 6 :

Take the slices out and rest it on the kitchen towel to absorb excess oil.

Step 7 :

Sprinkle chaat masala and serve it hot with tomato sauce.
