This fruit cut barfi is very easy to make and is perfect for the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.

Step 1 :

Grate khoya in a plate and set it aside. Heat a non-stick kadhai on low flame and add khoya in it, roast it for 2-3 minutes.

Step 2 :

Take out khoya from the kadhai and keep it aside to cool completely.

Step 3 :

Now, add sugar, cardamom powder, a pinch of saffron dissolved in milk, dry cherries and finely chopped dry fruits in the khoya, and mix it well to make a dough like consistency.

Step 4 :

Grease a steel plate with ghee and spread the mixture in it, keep it aside for a day to set.

Step 5 :

Next day, cut the barfi in pieces and serve it fresh. You can store it in refrigerator for 3-4 days, it will remain fresh.
