Vermicelli Kheer is often prepared during festivals in North and South India.

Cooking Steps

Step 1 :

In a pan, add ghee and let it heat for about 30 seconds.

Step 2 :

Add cashew nuts and almonds to it. Let it cook for a minute. Next, add raisins to it.

Step 3 :

When the dry fruits turn golden brown, remove it from the pan.

Step 4 :

Use the same pan and boil the milk.

Step 5 :

Once the milk starts to boil, add roasted vermicelli to it.

Step 6 :

Let it cook for 20 minutes.

Step 7 :

Add roasted dry fruits to it. Cook it for another minute or until the vermicelli is cooked well.

Step 8 :

Switch off the gas and transfer it into bowl. You can either serve it warm or cold as preferred.
