This is an easy to make dessert and has a longer shelf life hence it can be stored for future consumption.

Cooking Steps

Step 1 :

In a heavy bottom pan dry roast besan for few seconds and once done, keep it aside.

Step 2 :

Heat a little ghee around 50 ml in the pan. Once the ghee is hot, add the roasted besan in portions and keep stirring continuously. Add ghee in portions if more is required. Ensure there are no lumps.

Step 3 :

Once the ghee comes out of the mixture, the colour will change and the mixture will give out a a nice aroma, sprinkle a little water to the mixture. Bubbles will form in the mixture, keep stirring till it settle down. This enhances the taste.

Step 4 :

Now pour the mixture in another container and let it cool down to room temperature.

Step 5 :

Add the powdered sugar, cardamom powder and roughly chopped almonds and raisins. Mix it thoroughly.

Step 6 :

Grease your palms with a little ghee, take small portions of the mixture and roll it into small ladoos.
