Kodubale is a traditional South Indian sweet prepared for festive days like Ganesh Chaturthi.

Step 1 :

Rinse rice and allow it to dry. Blend the rice into fine powder.

Step 2 :

Dry roast maida and rava for 3-4 minutes on low flame.

Step 3 :

Fry the red chilies with 1 tsp oil and blend it to a fine powder.

Step 4 :

Mix all powders to a common base. Add jeera, hing, salt and 3 tsp of hot cooking oil.

Step 5 :

Mix these ingredients with water to form tight dough.

Step 6 :

Take the dough and create concentric circles with that dough.

Step 7 :

Deep fry the kodubale till it turns golden brown.

Step 8 :

Take it out from the pan and serve. You can use tissue paper to absorb excess oil from the kodubales.
