This sweet dish is apt for festivals like Raksha Bandhan. It is easy to prepare and doesn't take much time.

Step 1 :

In a kadai, dry roast raw peanuts until they are cooked well.

Step 2 :

In a deep bottom pan add sugar and water to it, allow it boil well. Make a one string thread sugar syrup.

Step 3 :

In a small bowl, soak saffron in warm milk.

Step 4 :

In a mixer, powder the roasted peanuts. Ensure to peel the peanuts skin before grinding them into a powder form.

Step 5 :

Add peanut powder, coconut powder and milk powder. Mix it well.

Step 6 :

Add 2 tbsp milk at this stage if your mixture is dry.

Step 7 :

Add cardamom powder and saffron to it, mix it well and set in a deep bottom plate.

Step 8 :

Allow it to rest for some time, then cut it in square pieces and serve.
