This is a main course recipe, it is very tasty and rich in nutrients. It can be had with roti and rice.

Step 1 :

Soak cashew nuts and almonds in a cup of milk for 2-3 hours.

Step 2 :

Once done, make a smooth paste from it.

Step 3 :

Cut onions into thin slices and cut paneer into small cubes.

Step 4 :

In a deep bottom vessel, add ghee on medium flame.

Step 5 :

Add garam masala, bay leaf and let it saute for half a minute.

Step 6 :

Add sliced onions and fry till golden brown.

Step 7 :

Now, add the remaining milk, sugar, salt and chili powder. Boil until the milk comes to a thick consistency.

Step 8 :

Add the cashew and almond paste, stir it continuously for 2-3 minutes.

Step 9 :

Add paneer cubes into it and stir lightly.

Step 10 :

Cut cheese slices in desired shape and add it to the gravy along with the cream.

Step 11 :

Switch off the gas and serve it hot.
