Crispy Chickpeas with Parmesan and Lime

These pan-fried parmesan chickpeas are healthy snacks loaded with protein, fiber, and a whole lot of delicious flavours.

Step 1 :

Drain the chickpea liquid using a sieve.

Step 2 :

Spread the drained chickpeas over a paper towel. With another paper towel gently rub the surface of the chickpeas to loosen the peels.

Step 3 :

Segregate the peels from the chickpeas and toss it away.

Step 4 :

In a non-stick pan over medium-high flame, heat oil until it starts to glisten.

Step 5 :

Add the peeled chickpeas and cook until golden brown and crispy all over, approximately for 5-7 minutes, stirring it occasionally.

Step 6 :

While the chickpeas are still hot, add salt, lemon zest, black pepper powder, garlic powder and parmesan cheese.

Step 7 :

Mix it well and serve it immediately.
