These simple yet exotic raw banana pockets are delicious. These are loved by children, adults and older people.

Step 1 :

Peel the raw bananas and cut them into thin circles and place it in a bowl of water to ensure it doesn’t turn black in colour.

Step 2 :

In a bowl, add gram flour, baking soda, salt and required amount of water. Mix it well so that it becomes a medium consistency batter.

Step 3 :

In a thick bottom pan add oil and let it heat.

Step 4 :

Remove the raw banana slices from water and then dip each slice in the batter.

Step 5 :

Fry the batter coated sliced in the kadai. Once done, remove and set aside. Repeat the process till all the slices are fried.

Step 6 :

Let the pakoras cool down. Now, take each pakora in your hand and slit it on the top so that it has a pocket.

Step 7 :

Now, in a bowl add finely chopped onions, add chilli powder and salt. Mix it well.

Step 8 :

Take each slit pakora and fill the onion stuffing in the pocket, sprinkle some lemon juice over it.

Step 9 :

Serve these slices on a plate with some tomato sauce.
