Keerai Bonda is a very famous South Indian snack for tea time. It is easy to make and can be prepared instantly.

Step 1 :

In a bowl, add chopped onions, green chilli, gram flour, rice flour, hing, salt, red chilli powder and fennel seeds.

Step 2 :

Mix it well and add chopped spinach leaves to it.

Step 3 :

Add required amount of water to make it a thick batter. And mix well to combine the ingredients.

Step 4 :

Heat oil in a kadai on medium heat.

Step 5 :

Using a spoon, scoop out small portions of the batter and fry it.

Step 6 :

Once it turns golden brown in colour, take it out of the kadai and rest it on kitchen towels.

Step 7 :

Serve it hot with some tomato sauce.
