Mutton Paya

Mutton Paya is soup made from mutton legs. It is very nutritional as the the leg bones contain bone marrow.

Step 1 :

Wash and keep mutton leg pieces aside.

Step 2 :

Heat oil in a large pressure cooker, add chopped onions and saute it till golden brown.

Step 3 :

Add chopped tomatoes and saute till it turns to puree.

Step 4 :

Now, add chopped green chillies, ginger garlic paste and toss in the mutton leg pieces.

Step 5 :

Add garam masala, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and mix well.

Step 6 :

Saute the pieces well and add curd and salt to it. Mix it well.

Step 7 :

Add 3-4 cups of water to it along with the maggi cube and stir it well.

Step 8 :

Now, add mint and coriander leaves to it and allow it to cook on low flame. Pressure cook it for about 20-30 minutes.

Step 9 :

Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
