This authentic sweet dish prepared with basic ingredients, always satisfies your sweet tooth and provides the necessary nutrition as well. It is very simple and easy to prepare if you have guests that suddenly at your home.

Step 1 :

Take a medium bottom pan and heat ghee in it.

Step 2 :

Add wheat flour and roast it well. Keep this mixture aside.

Step 3 :

Take a vessel, add jaggery and water to it, allow it to boil for 5 minutes on low flame.

Step 4 :

Add saffron strands to the jaggery mixture and stir well.

Step 5 :

Slowly, add the roasted wheat flour and mix well until there are no lumps, add a little ghee and stir until it leaves the pan.

Step 6 :

Greased a plate with ghee and transfer the mixture on the plate. Spread it across evenly using a spatula.

Step 7 :

Finally, add chopped nuts as garnish and once it is slightly warm, cut it in squares or rectangles and serve.
