Tilachi Vadi is prepared in Maharashtra during the Sankranti festival. It is a delicious and healthy sweet recipe which can be had at any time of the day.

Step 1 :

Take ghee in the pan, once it melts, add jaggery. Mix the jaggery till it melts.

Step 2 :

Then, add roasted coconut, roasted peanut powder, cardamon powder and nutmeg powder to it. Mix everything well.

Step 3 :

Turn off the gas after 3 minutes or when the mixture starts to leave the side of the pan.

Step 4 :

Grease a plate with ghee and then add the mixture, press and spread it around the plate.

Step 5 :

Cut it in square shapes and remove the pieces after the mixture cools down completely.
