Granita is a simple frozen dessert made from sugar. It is simple to make, refreshing and best had during the summer season.

Step 1 :

Peel the cucumber skin off, roughly dice it into squares and set it aside.

Step 2 :

In a blender, add diced cucumber, sugar, lemon juice and a litter water.

Step 3 :

Blend it until it forms a good juicy consistency.

Step 4 :

Take a long flat metal tin and pour this prepared puree in it.

Step 5 :

Freeze the puree in the freezer for an hour or so. The puree has freeze complete.

Step 6 :

Once done, using a fork scrape the granita out of the tin and place it into small bowls.

Step 7 :

Serve this dessert chilled.
