This is a delicious sweet recipe famous in North Karnataka and is specially prepared during the Sankranti festival. It is prepared from wheat flour and is loaded with dry fruits that adds to its taste.

Step 1 :

Mix wheat flour, semolina and oil in a bowl.

Step 2 :

Prepare dough of the above mixture by adding small quantity of water, keep the dough to rest for around 10 minutes.

Step 3 :

Make small balls of the dough, roll it like a chapati and roast without applying oil.

Step 4 :

Crush the roasted chapatis and grind it into a coarse mixture when it is hot.

Step 5 :

Add dry fruits, roasted chana dal, desiccated coconut, cardamom powder, ghee and soften jaggery to the crushed chapati mixture.

Step 6 :

Mix all ingredients well and prepare small laddus from it.
