Cooking Steps

Step 1 :

Clean and dry roast sesame seeds for 2 to 3 minutes till it turns light in color or aromatic.

Step 2 :

Now, grind it into a coarse mixture.

Step 3 :

Add ghee in a pan, once heated add grated jaggery and mix well.

Step 4 :

Lower the flame and stir until the jaggery melts. Cook it for another minute or two, until it begins to bubble.

Step 5 :

Now, add sesame seeds powder and coconut powder. Switch off the flame and mix it well.

Step 6 :

Allow the mixture to cool, grease your palms with ghee and make small balls with the mixture.

Step 7 :

Garnish it with a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
