This is an easy to make, delicious, soft texture mousse that will melt in your mouth.

Step 1 :
In a saucepan, add corn starch, cocoa and sugar. Whisk it gently and add milk in to it, in portions.
Step 2 :
Switch on the gas and allow the milk mixture to cook over medium heat. Whisk it frequently.
Step 3 :
Allow it to simmer for a minute before adding in the vanilla extract.
Step 4 :
Take the chocolate slab and roughly chop it into small pieces and place it in a whisking bowl.
Step 5 :
Pour the hot milk mixture over the chopped pieces of chocolate until it covers. Wait until the chocolate melts on its own.
Step 6 :
Meanwhile, in a large bowl, add egg white and salt, beat it for a minute. Add baking powder and beat it until it turns light and fluffy.
Step 7 :
Now, stir the melted chocolate mixture until smooth. Add the beaten egg whites to the chocolate mixture in portions, ensure to fold it well for the ingredients to incorporate.
Step 8 :
Divide the mousse into 4 glasses and seal it with cling wrap. Refrigerate it for and hour and garnish it with chocolate shavings before serving.
