This is a recipe that can be prepared on special days, it made with caramel and lots of dry fruits.

Step 1 :

In a saucepan, melt sugar. Allow it to melt on high flame to caramelize it, add hot water accordingly.

Step 2 :

Stir the sugar to ensure it doesn't burn, once it thickens, turn off the flame. Let it rest.

Step 3 :

Now, add a little more hot water to it the sauce pan and boil it for a minute. Add all the dry fruits and chopped cherries to it.

Step 4 :

Cook it for 4-5 minutes on low flame. Once the fruits turn plump, switch off gas.

Step 5 :

Take butter in bowl and add milkmaid to it. Mix it well.

Step 6 :

Separate the dry fruits and cherries from the caramel syrup and keep it aside.

Step 7 :

Add the caramel syrup to the butter mixture.

Step 8 :

Add maida, baking powder, baking soda & powdered almond to the mixture. Mix it well to form a smooth batter.

Step 9 :

Add the cooked dry fruits and cherries to the batter. Ensure to add it in portions.

Step 10 :

Pour the batter into a greased muffin tray.

Step 11 :

Bake it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees, for 20-30 minutes.
