Step 1 :

Sieve maida with baking powder and baking soda.

Step 2 :

In a bowl, beat butter, powdered sugar, eggs, and vanilla essence together, till light and creamy.

Step 3 :

Gradually add the sieved flour, 1 tsp orange zest and orange juice alternately and mix well.

Step 4 :

Pour the batter in a greased baking tin.

Step 5 :

Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180º C for 45 minutes or till done.
