This delicious South Indian recipe, not only tastes good but is healthy as well, especially for kids. It is simple to prepare and less time consuming.

Step 1 :

In a pressure cooker, heat water.

Step 2 :

In the meantime, finely grate all the vegetables and set aside.

Step 3 :

Add the grated vegetables to the pressure cooker, before the water starts to boil.

Step 4 :

Now, add jeera, diced onion, curry leaves, chopped garlic, tomato and turmeric powder.

Step 5 :

Close the cooker with its lid and wait for the first whistle.

Step 6 :

Once done, allow it to cool down and strain the water with a strainer. Keep the water aside.

Step 7 :

Blend the cooked vegetables into a smooth puree with the help of a blender.

Step 8 :

Now, mix the paste with the filtered water and stir well.

Step 9 :

Add salt and pepper powder as required.

Step 10 :

Pour it into bowls and serve it hot.
