Step 1 :

In a pressure cooker, cook bengal gram dal, yellow moong dal and toor dal with a cup of water.

Step 2 :

After 4-5 whistles switch off the gas.

Step 3 :

Heat oil in a pan.

Step 4 :

Add cumin seeds and fennel seed, allow it to crackle.

Step 5 :

Now, add roughly chopped ginger and garlic and saute for 1 minute.

Step 6 :

Add the cooked dal and water to the pan.

Step 7 :

Cook it for half an hour. Season with salt and black pepper powder, mix it well.

Step 8 :

Garnish it with coriander leaves and lemon juice. Serve it hot in bowls.
