Step 1 :

Add maida, sugar, cocoa powder and salt in a microwaveable mug. Stir the mixture with a spoon to combine and loosen the lumps.

Step 2 :

Now, add water, oil, vanilla essence and cinnamon powder to the cup. Stir it well until the mixture is smooth. Ensure there are no lumps formed.

Step 3 :

Place the cup in the microwave and cook it for about 1 minute 40 seconds. Adjust the time depending on the heat of the microwave.

Step 4 :

Make sure to insert a toothpick to check if the cake is moist and cooked through. The cake has to be moist and not dry.

Step 5 :

Once done, take the mug out and allow it to rest for a minute.

Step 6 :

Serve the cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
