Nutty Wheat Pancakes

These whole wheat pancakes are light, fluffy and delicious as well as easy to prepare.

Step 1 :

In a large bowl, add wheat flour, flax seeds, oat flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Mix all the ingredients well.

Step 2 :

Whisk buttermilk, eggs, and melted butter in another bowl.

Step 3 :

Now, add the buttermilk mixture to the flour mixture and whisk it to combine. Do not over-mix the mixture.

Step 4 :

Heat a medium non-stick pan over medium heat. Lightly coat it with oil.

Step 5 :

Take a 1/4th cup of batter and pour it onto the pan.

Step 6 :

Cook until the pancake bottom is golden brown in color and bubbles begin to form over the top for around 3 minutes.

Step 7 :

Flip the pancake and cook until golden brown for a minute or 2.

Step 8 :

Serve it hot with honey and garnish it with chopped cashew nuts.
