Step 1 :

Boil milk, in a vessel.

Step 2 :

To the boiling milk, add carrots and cook it for 30 to 40 minutes on medium flame, till it is completely cooked.

Step 3 :

Once the milk has evaporated, add saffron, sugar, cardamom powder, few cashew nuts & raisins.

Step 4 :

Add 4 tbsp of ghee & mix well.

Step 5 :

Keep stirring till the sugar caramelizes and the ghee separates.

Step 6 :

Turn off the stove. Gajar Ka Halwa is ready. Serve it hot in a bowl.
