Step 1 :

Place the clay pot on the stove and heat it up for 10 minutes over medium flame.

Step 2 :

Boil water and milk together with 2 crushed cardamoms, chai masala and bay leaves, in a vessel.

Step 3 :

Add sugar and tea leaves. Boil it for a minute.

Step 4 :

Strain the tea in a vessel.

Step 5 :

Meanwhile, the colour of the clay pot will change on heating.

Step 6 :

Place the clay pot in a deep vessel and pour the hot tea in it.

Step 7 :

The tea will start to bubble in the clay pot and would eventually ooze out. Now, pour the tea in cups and serve.
