Step 1 :

Mix sugar in warm milk till it dissolves.

Step 2 :

Add ghee and mix well. Slowly, add maida and make a dough. It should be soft. Let it rest for an hour, the dough will become a little firm than before.

Step 3 :

Heat the oil in a kadai, ensure the oil is not be very hot otherwise the shakkarpara will be raw from the inside.

Step 4 :

Make a thick roti of that dough and cut it in square shapes with the help of a knife. You can also cut it in any desired shape.

Step 5 :

Drop it one by one in oil. Once it is brown in colour take it out and allow it to cool.

Step 6 :

Your crispy shakkarpara is ready. Once cooled, store it in an airtight container.
