Mango Chutney is usually had as a side. It does not taste sour like the usual pickles.

Step 1 :

Slice the mangoes into half and squeeze the pulp out in a bowl. Ensure there is 1 cup of mango pulp ready.

Step 2 :

Without adding water, grind the mango pulp in a mixer.

Step 3 :

Now, in a bottom kadai, add ground mango pulp and bring it to boil for 5 minutes.

Step 4 :

Slowly, add sugar to the boiled mixture and continuously stir for about 10 minutes.

Step 5 :

Add citric acid crystals to the mixture.

Step 6 :

Now, add corn flour mixed in water to the mango chutney. After adding, mix it well.

Step 7 :

The mango chutney is now ready. If refrigerated it lasts up to 1 month and if kept outside, it can be stored for a week.
