Tasty Prawn Biryani

This recipe is easy to make. The prawns add to the flavor of the basmati rice.

Step 1 :

Soak the basmati rice for 20 minutes, in a bowl.

Step 2 :

Heat a pan, add oil in it, then add cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and gently saute it.

Step 3 :

Now, take a pressure cooker, put in oil to heat. Later, add an onion and saute till golden brown.

Step 4 :

Add chopped tomato and saute it for 2 minutes. Once done, add all the fried spices to it and give it a toss.

Step 5 :

Put in ginger garlic paste and fry for 2 minutes, add prawns in the mixture, saute for 7 minutes.

Step 6 :

Now, add briyani masala, garam masala, chilly powder and saute until the raw smell is gone.

Step 7 :

Lastly, add water and basmati rice to the cooker for about 2 whistles.

Step 8 :

Garnish it with mint leaves. Serve it hot.
