Mutton soup is good for cold and cough as it contains ginger, garlic, turmeric powder, pepper corn and cumin seeds.

Step 1 :

Dry roast black pepper corn, saunf, coriander seeds and cumin seeds to make a fine powder.

Step 2 :

Wash the mutton chest pieces, thoroughly.

Step 3 :

In a pressure cooker, add chopped onion, tomato, ginger and garlic paste, a spoon of soup powder, turmeric powder and pour water till the pieces sink in.

Step 4 :

Next, add fresh coriander leaves and salt as required.

Step 5 :

Close the lid and let it cook on medium flame til 8-10 whistles. Once done, put it into a bowl.

Step 6 :

Fry 1/4 spoon mustard in oil and add curry leaves. Add these to the soup. It will add good flavor to it.
