Barnyard Millet Cutlets have beetroot and radish in it. It is a very nutritious dish as millet have calcium, minerals, protein & iron. Beetroot helps to lower blood pressure, radish leaves have dietary fiber, folic acid, magnesium, calcium & potassium.

Step 1 :

Wash barnyard millet in water thoroughly.

Step 2 :

Boil the millet in water and allow it to cool to room temperature.

Step 3 :

Boil the beetroot and shred it.

Step 4 :

Meanwhile, chop the radish leaves, ginger, green chilli, coriander leaves.

Step 5 :

Next, mash the millet with fingers. Add shredded beetroot, radish leaves, ginger, green chilli, coriander leaves, salt and coriander powder.

Step 6 :

With fingers, take a ball and make a desired shape for the cutlet.

Step 7 :

Fry the cutlets in a non-stick pan, on both sides, with a little oil.

Step 8 :

Your healthy, full of nutrients, low fat cutlets are ready to serve. Serve it with chutney of your choice.
