It is a delicious and very popular sweet dish in India.

Preparation

Step 1 :

Grease the pan with ghee so that milk does not stick to the pan/kadai.

Step 2 :

Now add milk in the pan/kadai and start heating it.

Step 3 :

Once the milk starts boiling, reduce the gas flame from high to low. Keep stirring the milk while it is boiling.

Step 4 :

Let the milk simmer on low/medium flame until it reduces to half of its original quantity. Now, add Sugar, Saffron and Cardamom Powder.

Step 5 :

Cook until it evaporates and milk solids remains. Take it off the heat and let it cool off.

Step 6 :

Once the mixture has completely cooled down take the mixture in a grinder and grind it to a smooth paste.

Step 7 :

Now, make small balls of it using Gulkand stuffing. One can also garnish it with dry-fruits. Now, delicious Gulkand peda is ready. Enjoy it.
