Modak is a sweet dish often prepared for ganpati pooja. It is a stuffed dumpling consisting of grated coconut and jaggery, loved by all members of my family. Usually modaks are made with rice flour but to give this sweet dish a healthy twist, millets can be used. Make the modak dough with ragi, it is very easy to prepare and is the healthiest.
