Preparation

Step 1 :

Take a pan, heat it and add ghee.

Step 2 :

Add the mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal, jeera and sauté.

Step 3 :

Add a pinch of hing, curry leaves and stir fry.

Step 4 :

Now add the finely chopped ginger, green chilli and pepper and stir fry.

Step 5 :

Add the moong dal and stir fry until it lets out an aroma.

Step 6 :

Add 4 cups of water and salt and boil.

Step 7 :

Add the broken fox millet. Stir continuously.

Step 8 :

Cook well for 15 minutes and switch off the flame.

Step 9 :

Serve with ginger chutney or lemon pickle.
