The Spice Cake

Usually we make cakes with different types of flavors, fruits, dry fruits etc. This one is with the spices. A pure blend of american spice by Sprig. The blend of nutmeg, parsley, lime juice and chives. This cake gave a texture of both sweet and tangy flavor and a bit of chilli also.

Preparation

Step 1 :

Mix curd with baking soda in a bowl and keep it aside for 5 minutes.

Step 2 :

It will rise upto double its quantity.

Step 3 :

Now in a pan, mix sugar, oil,milk, baking powder, sprig spice blend and rose essence.

Step 4 :

Sieve the all purpose flour in it and mix with spatula then add the curd mix into it. Keep mixing so that no lumps are formed.

Step 5 :

Preheat the oven for 7-8 minutes at 150°.

Step 6 :

Grease the baking pan and pour the batter into it.

Step 7 :

Bake the cake for 45 minutes at 150°. Check with tester or tooth pick, if it comes clean then take it out else bake it for 5-7 minutes more.

Step 8 :

After taking out, when it comes to room temperature, de mould it. Slice it when it cools down and serve.
