Lemon Rice a quick and simple dish to make if you have only minutes in your hands. An awesome spiced up rice with a hint of tangy taste, this lemon rice can be easily made with left over rice. It is especially helpful to carry around during trips as it can last for 2-3 days if stored properly. Easy to eat and complete meal in itself, its an great option while you are on the go!

Step 1 :

Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, channa dal, urad dal, dry red chilies, curry leaves and fry for few seconds till it splutters.

Step 2 :

Now add in salt and turmeric powder and fry for few seconds.

Step 3 :

Add lemon juice and mix well.

Step 4 :

Add cooked rice, mix well and stir until everything is tossed well together and take off the heat.
