Sabudana Khichdi

Some of my favorite memories from the summer are about the awesome food I used to have at my grandmother’s house. Sabudana Khichdi is one such simple but delicious dish, the taste of which is still fresh in my memory and that is what I have tried to recreate here with a few twists of my own, where I have added green peas, potatoes, peanuts and other aromatic spices.

Step 1 :

Take oil in a pan and heat it, then add jeera and hing.

Step 2 :

Now add Peanuts and cook for a minute.

Step 3 :

Then add green peas and sauté it for 3 to 4 minutes, now add boiled potatoes to this and cook for 2 minutes.

Step 4 :

Once green peas and potatoes are cooked, add haldi, red chili, green chili and salt.

Step 5 :

Now add sabudana to this, mix it well, cover with a lid and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.

Step 6 :

Add sugar, lemon juice and coriander leaves and enjoy.
