Savoury Filled Crepe (Nonta Patishapta)

A healthy and tasty recipe! Both the batter and filling can be prepared in advance and refrigerated to save on time.

Preparation

Step 1 :

In a non-stick wok, add oil/butter. Stir fry the paneer/chhena, green chillies, coriander leaves, green peas, kaju, salt and the spices. Fry till cooked well. You can also add boiled potatoes if paneer is not available or in addition to above ingredients. Add a spoon of ketchup and give it a final stir. Lastly, sprinkle cheese on top and let it melt. Your filling is ready. Keep the filling aside.

Step 2 :

Take maida, sooji and rice flour in a bowl.

Step 3 :

Add milk. Mix it carefully avoiding lumps. Keep the mixture aside for 15 to 20 minutes.

Step 4 :

Heat a non-stick pan. Put a little oil/butter/ghee. Pour a thin layer of the mixture on it and spread it quickly with the laddle.

Step 5 :

Put the filling lengthwise at the centre of it and roll it. Turn around carefully and cook the other side till golden brown.

Step 6 :

Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
