Healthy Oats Paneer Tikki

A shallow fried healthy delight that can be enjoyed as starters or snacks! You can be innovative with this dish and add or remove ingredients as per your taste.

Preparation

Step 1 :

In a pan, boil oats with water for 4-5 minutes. Let it cool down.

Step 2 :

Add aloo mash, salt, chat masala, rosemary, red chilli flakes, onion, sauce, green chilli and mix well.

Step 3 :

Roll them into balls and flatten them. Place a piece of diced or grated cottage cheese and stuff it into the tikki.

Step 4 :

Seal the edges properly and set aside.

Step 5 :

Mean while toast a table spoon of amaranth seeds in a hot dry pan for 7-8 minutes. Continuously stir until the seeds pop.

Step 6 :

Heat a non-stick pan and add a teaspoon of olive oil. Now coat each tikki with the amaranth seeds and place the patties on the pan. Shallow fry them on both the sides till they are golden brown. Remove the tikki, place on an absorbent paper and sprinkle some chat masala. Place on the serving plate and serve hot.
