Strawberry and Custard Tart

Cooking Steps

For Tart

Step 1 :

Mix flour, butter and sugar along with few drops of vanilla essence.

Step 2 :

Knead it to make dough.

Step 3 :

Add little water if required for binding.

Step 4 :

Refrigerate the dough for 2 hrs .

Step 5 :

Line the dough flat on a tart tray and bake it at 150 degree for 30 mins.

For Custard

Step 1 :

Take 2½ table spoons (25g) of Brown & Polson Custard Powder in a bowl.

Step 2 :

Add 125 ml from a 500ml milk pouch to make a smooth paste.

Step 3 :

Boil the remaining milk (375ml) with 4 table spoons (50g) of sugar. Mix well & remove from the flame.

Step 4 :

Then add the paste & cook again for 2- 3 minutes. You don't want to burn this so keep stirring. Let it cool.

Step 5 :

Combine the custard with 100 grams of whipped cream.

Step 6 :

Put the custard in piping bag and pipe it onto the tart.

Step 7 :

Top the tart with fresh strawberries.
