Cheese and Mashed Potato Garlic Knots

Preparation

Step 1 :

Preheat oven to 190°C.

Step 2 :

Take warm water in a cup. Add sugar and yeast to it. Stir and allow it to bloom and foam for 3-5 minutes. Prepare dough by pouring this mixture into flour, stirring until a ball is formed.

Step 3 :

Knead the dough well. Cover and let rise to double its size.

Step 4 :

In a pot, combine garlic and butter and let it simmer for 5-10 minutes.

Step 5 :

Cut dough into 2-inch pieces and roll out about a 1/4-inch thick round shape (like pooris).

Step 6 :

Take a cup cake baking pan and brush it with oil.

Step 7 :

Put the pooris in each mould. Brush it with garlic butter and stuff it with mashed potato and cheese.

Step 8 :

Fold and press the edges together to form a little dough ball with knots on the top. Brush with more garlic butter and pop it into a prepared cupcake pan.

Step 9 :

Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden and cooked through.
