Preparation
Step 1 :
First mix all the ingredients (except bread and oil) together in a bowl.
Step 2 :
Then layer bread quarters with the egg-cheese mixture and keep aside.
Step 3 :
Heat oil in a frying pan and carefully slide in the layered bread quarters (mixture side down) into the hot oil. Fry for 2-3 minutes, then turn over to other side.
Step 4 :
Fry until golden brown on either side.
Step 5 :
Drain excess oil on tissue paper and serve hot on a bed of lettuce leaves and accompanied by tomato ketchup.
