Preparation

Step 1 :

Wash quinoa thoroughly and soak it for 15 minutes. Boil the quinoa in a cooker for 5 minutes.

Step 2 :

Drain and rinse the quinoa well.

Step 3 :

In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, add the drained quinoa, coconut milk, sugar, dry powder milk and powdered cardamom powder.

Step 4 :

Once it comes to boil, lower the heat and let it simmer for 20-30 minutes.

Step 5 :

Stir every few minutes, until the kheer has thickened.

Step 6 :

Heat ghee in a pan and fry the cashew nut.

Step 7 :

Garnish with all the dry fruits and serve.
