Quinoa Adai

A wholesome and filling delight made of quinoa, lentils and seasonings.

Preparation

Step 1 :

Wash and soak quinoa, Bengal gram, toor dal, green gram dal, urad dal and fenugreek seeds for 3 hours.

Step 2 :

Grind it coarsely along with red chilies, green chilies and ginger. Batter should be neither too thick nor thin. You do not have to ferment the batter.

Step 3 :

Add finely chopped onions, coriander leaves, curry leaves, coconut slices, cumin seeds and salt to the batter.

Step 4 :

Heat a tawa, pot a ladle of batter in the centre and spread it in a circular motion.

Step 5 :

Drizzle a bit of oil around the kadai and cook on medium heat.

Step 6 :

Flip it over other side and cook for a minute or two. Serve hot
