Quinoa Ladoo Delight

Thought of indulging in a box of ladoos but worried about your health? Here’s a great and healthy way to fulfil your sweet tooth.

Preparation

Step 1 :

Wash the quinoa thoroughly (at least thrice). Cook it in 2 ½ cups of water with a pinch of salt.

Step 2 :

When the water starts to bubble, reduce the flame and let it cook for 25 minutes or until all the water disappears.

Step 3 :

Once cooled, blend the quinoa in the blender for 15 seconds.

Step 4 :

Roast the semolina for about two minutes and add about 25 ml of water to it. Once the water is absorbed completely, keep it aside.

Step 5 :

In a separate vessel, melt the ghee and add the quinoa, semolina and sugar. Keep stirring till the sugar dissolves and ghee separates.

Step 6 :

When this mix gets warm, add raisins and milk powder. Mix well.

Step 7 :

Form ladoos and garnish with chopped pistachios and silver varki (optional).
