A delectable and healthy green gram sundal recipe which is usually enjoyed during Navratri.

Preparation

Step 1 :

Dry roast the green gram till it releases an aroma.

Step 2 :

Pressure cook the green gram for one whistle and keep it on sim for 5 minutes.

Step 3 :

Take a pan, add jaggery and quarter cup of water. Let it boil for 5 minutes till the raw smell of jaggery goes away.

Step 4 :

Now add the boiled gram, ghee and elaichi powder. Let it cook for 5 minutes so that all the ingredients bind together.

Step 5 :

Finally sprinkle the grated coconut.
