Sweet Dosa Sandwich

A staple for all the festivals celebrated at our home, it’s also a quick and healthy dish that can be prepared when you crave something sweet.

For the Filling

Step 1 :

Cook the chana dal and remove the extra water.

Step 2 :

Add the grated coconut and jaggery and let it come to a boil.

Step 3 :

Once it cools down, grind this mixture in a mixie to make a smooth paste.

Step 4 :

The consistency of the paste should be like halwa.

For the sandwich base

Step 1 :

On a flat pan, pour a ladle of Fresho Idly Dosa Batter and spread the batter in a circular motion.

Step 2 :

Add a little organic butter and cook until it turns golden brown.

Step 3 :

Set the dosa aside. Follow the same steps as above and cook another dosa of the same size.

Step 4 :

Once this dosa is cooked, spread the chana dal mixture on the dosa.

Step 5 :

Place the first dosa on top of it to make a sandwich.

Step 6 :

Cook for 30 seconds and turn it over and cook the other side for 30 seconds.

Step 7 :

Serve with a dollop of organic butter.
