Preparation

Step 1 :

Mix 3 cups rice (cup size - fits 120 grams of rice), 1 cup boiled rice, 1 cup urad dal and 1/2 spoon methi seeds. Wash well and soak for 5 hours.

Step 2 :

Grind it well to a very fine batter.

Step 3 :

Ferment it for 8 hours or overnight.

Step 4 :

The batter is ready for making dosa. Add required salt and a pinch of baking soda.

Step 5 :

Take a spoon of batter and spread it evenly on the oiled dosa tava. Make sure the dosa tava is hot enough before you spread the batter on it.

Step 6 :

Hot dosa is ready.
