Mushroom Tomato Curry

A spicy South Indian curry that goes well with chapatti and rotis.

Preparation

Step 1 :

Clean and chop each mushroom into 4 pieces and keep it aside.

Step 2 :

Heat the pan and add 2 spoons oil. Sauté cinnamon, cloves, onion, garlic and green chilies until the onion turns transparent.

Step 3 :

Add turmeric powder, pepper powder, coriander powder and salt. Toss well. Add tomato puree.

Step 4 :

Add mushrooms, coriander leaves, 2 spoons of curd and little water. Close the lid for 5 minutes.

Step 5 :

Open the lid, switch off the flame. Add lemon juice and coriander. Serve hot with roti or chapatti.
